Employment scam

It has come to IFAD's attention that a number of organizations or programmes claim to be acting on its behalf in recruiting or facilitating recruitment of personnel. IFAD wishes to advise the public in unconditional terms that:

• it does not charge a fee or request banking information during its recruitment processes. Consult the current IFAD vacancies and information on application procedures. 
• it does not sponsor any organizations or programmes which, through website postings, e-mail messages, newsletters or otherwise, claim to be acting on its behalf in recruiting or facilitating the recruitment of personnel.
• it is not responsible for such fraudulent correspondence or any loss or theft which may result from it.
• victims of scams, are encouraged to contact abuse@ifad.org and may also wish to report such scams to their local law enforcement agencies.
