Ishraq Ahmed

Ishraq graduated in 2009 from Centre College, Kentucky, USA with a Bachelors degree in Financial Economics and a Minor in Mathematics. He received his Masters in Science from the University of Nottingham, U.K. in Economics and Development Economics. His areas of interest are in Aid and Poverty Reduction, Effectiveness of Pro-poor Public Expenditures, Economic Growth and Inequality and Trade Openness. Ishraq joined DRD review team on the first of January 2011.

Erin Baggott

Erin is currently pursuing her PhD in Government at Harvard University.  She previously completed a MSc in Modern Chinese Studies at Oxford and a BA in Government and Economics at Harvard. Erin is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Her research focuses on International Relations and Development Economics. Erin joined DRD review team on the 20th of October in 2010.

Arindam Banerjee

 

Arindam is an Assistant Professor in Economics at Ambedkar University, Delhi. He has a PhD in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and  Master degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University.  He has publications  in Agriculture, Economics, Poverty and Food Security. His areas of interest are Food and Agricultural Economics, Political Economy, Economic Thought, Development Economics, Sustainable Development, and Poverty. Arindam joined DRD review team on the 20th of October in 2010.

Malini Chakravarty

Malini is a Senior Economist at the Economic Research Foundation (ERF), New Delhi. She has a Master degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics and M. Phil degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Economics at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Malini has several publications; her areas of interest are in Macroeconomics, Agriculture and Trade. Malini joined DRD review team on the 20th of October 2010.

Jennifer Smolak

Jennifer has a Master degree in Economics from Concordia University in 2011, following a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University. Jennifer was in intern at IFAD in the Strategic Knowledge Management Branch.  Her areas of interest include International  Development, Rural Economic Development and Food Security.
