  • Do not use screensavers, they do not save energy
  • Turn off the lights when you leave a room
  • Use compact fluorescent light bulbs
  • Keep doors and windows shut when the heating or air conditioning is running
  • Use fans instead of air conditioning when possible

  • Separate garbage, at work and at home
  • Use mugs or glasses instead of plastic cups
  • Drink tap water, not bottled
  • Choose seasonal fruit and vegetables
  • Eat less meat
  • Choose products with less packaging
  • Use cloth shopping bags or reuse plastic ones
  • Avoid cleaning products with chlorine or phosphates
  • Wash clothes in cold water
  • Hang out your laundry to dry
  • Take shorter, cooler showers
  • Turn off water taps properly
  • Make sure leaking taps are repaired
