Ha Giang Development Project for Ethnic Minorities

Ha Giang Province, one of the poorest and most remote areas of the country, is home to many ethnic minorities. The project targeted the most vulnerable communities, where annual food shortages generally lasted from three to seven months. The project supported improvements in the use of natural resources, infrastructure development, and development of environmentally sustainable and culturally viable models that can be replicated elsewhere in the northern provinces.
