Smallholder agriculture offers rural poor people a route out of poverty and the world an opportunity to meet its future food needs. That's the message coming out of recently released Rural Poverty Report 2011 and the one IFAD's President, Kanayo Nwanze, will be bringing to the next World Economic Forum in Davos.
