On 25 January 2010 the President of IFAD issued a memo requiring relevant IFAD divisions and units to indicate actions they would take to implement the Commitments. He also announced that he would review progress annually in a Town Hall meeting to be held on the occasion of Rural Women’s Day (15 October). Twelve divisions and units provided detailed action plans with targets for 2010 The first progress review was held in October 2010.
