Damascus, 11 May - President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday received at the People's Palace Chairman of the International Fund for Agrarian Development IFAD Lennart Bage. Talks during the meeting concentrated on agrarian investment projects in Syria and IFAD's role in establishing those projects. Talks also dealt with the importance of making use of IFAD's expertise to enhance agriculture development in Syria. The meeting was attended by Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Dr. Adel Safar.
