Welcome to the Near East and North Africa (NENA) Gender Mainstreaming web page!

The page is an open space for documenting, learning and sharing experiences on our efforts to promote and implement sustainable and equitable development programmes for rural women and men in the Near East and North Africa region. The page is primarily intended for the women and men involved in designing, implementing and evaluating projects that are jointly financed by national governments and the International Fund for Agricultural Development. The cyberworld having no boundaries, we look forward to exchanging experiences with project and line ministry staff and with development practitioners from the Near East, North Africa and beyond on how to work with women and men in relevant and meaningful ways to enable them to overcome poverty.
