IFAD makes information available on its projects and programmes once they have entered the official pipeline through an inception memorandum.

Information notes are prepared for each operation and are updated upon completion of each major phase. These notes are provided for information purposes only.

The notes are posted on the IFAD website in the organization’s four official languages. However, the posting of such notes on the website does not imply any definitive judgement on the suitability of a given project/programme for IFAD financing or on the estimated amount of an IFAD loan for the project or programme.

IFAD’s relevant committees, together with any other approving mechanism decided by IFAD, will continue to ascertain the suitability of IFAD support in the subsequent phases of project or programme design.
