The Executive Board also reviewed the COSOP for the Republic of Peru (document EB 2002/75/R.16/Rev.1), and commended the Latin America and the Caribbean Division on the strategic approach proposed for Peru. Directors fully endorsed the COSOP and appreciated the document's clarity in defining IFAD's role and contributions to overcome poverty in Peru.
