Republic of Ghana Country Strategic Opportunities Programme 2019-2024

This COSOP covers 2019-2024 and is aligned with the Government’s policy framework as well as Ghana’s transition to a middle-income country.

It responds to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, particularly SDGs 1, 2, 9, 12 and 14, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Partnership with Ghana 2018-2022: outcomes 1, 2, 5 and 6. 5.

This COSOP has three strategic objectives:

• Strategic objective 1: Promote a financially sustainable and inclusive rural transformation
• Strategic objective 2: Strengthen productivity in inclusive value chain development
• Strategic objective 3: Strengthen capacities and economic opportunities
