Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan - Country Strategy Note 2023-2024

This Country Strategy Note (CSN) covers the period 2023-2024 and focuses on the following priorities:

The restructuring and digitalization of the agricultural sector, improving production and productivity per unit of water, focusing on strategic crops, developing the logistics for chain of operations, uplifting agro-processing and enhancing export competitiveness.

The CSN will pursue two strategic objectives:

• Foster development of smallholder agricultural production into sustainable, resilient, inclusive and diverse agri-food systems;
• Create an enabling environment for youth participation to the agri-food value chains through sustainable business ventures.
