Paolo Silveri

Paolo Silveri is IFAD's Country Director for Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago. He is based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

 

Previous roles in IFAD include Lead Regional Economist for the Latin American and the Caribbean Division, Acting Director of IFAD’s Sustainable Production, Markets and Institutions Division, and Evaluation Officer. Before joining IFAD, Silveri was Country Director for Lay Volunteers International Association (Italy) and a Research Assistant at the EU Commission.

 

Silveri holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural and Rural Development from the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, Netherlands, and a BA and MA in Economics at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, Italy.
