Policy Brief: Impact of Covid-19 on staples and food markets in Tanzania

Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in the beginning of 2020, a number of studies have been conducted in Tanzania to assess the effect and impact of Covid-19 in agriculture and food systems. ASPIRES with support from IFAD reviewed and summarized findings and recommendations from these various studies.

These reviews provide a summary of results and actionable policy recommendations to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 and build resilience against future pandemic outbreaks.
