On the occasion of the 44th Session of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS), the Rome-based Agencies (FAO, IFAD and WFP) are organising a side event in collaboration with Hivos, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and NEPAD. This side event is a talk show intended to put on the spotlight the work of the RBAs on nutrition and the nutrition-sensitive initiatives of partners for collaborative efforts towards fostering nutrition mainstreaming in the African region.

The scale of malnutrition and its impact on health and economic growth are serious global concerns. Working together is the best way forward to ensure a sustainable world free from hunger and poverty.
