The OECD Development Centre’s IPPMD project was carried out in ten low and middle-income countries between 2013 and 2017 (Armenia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Côte d'Ivoire, Dominican Republic, Georgia, Haiti, Morocco, Philippines) and sought to provide policy makers with evidence of the importance of integrating migration into development strategies and fostering coherence across sectoral policies.

Th event will take place at IFAD headquarters on Tuesday 17 October, from 9:00 to 10:30, and will see the participation of Mr David Khoudour, Head of Migration and Skills Unit at the OECD Development Centre who will present the findings of the OECD study and engage in interactive discussions with the audience.

Given the key relevance of migration from rural areas of the developing world linked with IFAD’s mandate, directors and CPMs are encouraged to participate in this presentation and subsequent conversation.
