The Asia and Pacific regional presentation of the Rural Development Report 2016: Fostering Inclusive Rural Transformation, will take place in New Delhi, India, on 17 October. Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, the event will be chaired by Dinesh Sharma, Special Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. Representing IFAD will be Assistant Vice-President Perin Saint Ange.

The main findings of the report will be presented by Paul Winters, Officer-in-charge, Strategy and Knowledge Department and Director,  Research and Impact Assessment Division, IFAD. This will be followed by a discussion with distinguished panelists from India, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Philippines, moderated by Sarah Jacob, Senior Editor and Anchor, New Delhi Television (NDTV).
