On 17 and 18 February, parking near IFAD will be limited to the vehicles of Governing Council participants. Further details will be communicated at a later stage.
Parking and transportation
Delegates may be dropped off in the internal parking lot at the headquarters' main entrance (via Paolo di Dono, 44).
For the days of the Governing Council session, a limited number of parking places have been reserved near the IFAD premises for delegates arriving in cars with CD plates or displaying an IFAD parking permit. The parking places are located inside a public parking lot on via Paolo Di Dono, between 149-157. A sheltered area with an IFAD sign will be set up at the entrance to make the parking area easily identifiable. Conference staff will also be on hand for any assistance needed. (see map)
Governing Council delegates can obtain a temporary IFAD parking permit from Conference Services.

Security
Strict security measures will be implemented. Metal detectors and x-rays machines for baggage scanning will be in operation at all entrances to the meeting site. Security staff will have instructions to allow entry only to persons in possession of a security badge.
Registration and accreditation
All members of official delegations and all observers are kindly requested to register and pick up their security badge immediately upon arrival at the registration area located in the atrium.
Delegates are kindly reminded that due to the limited seating capacity of the Plenary Hall, only two seats per delegation will be assigned. Floating passes will be issued at the registration area. A limited number of observers will be issued with a floating pass.
Upon registration for the Governing Council, delegates will be provided with a meeting badge to be used on both days of the session. For security purposes, this badge must be worn at all times while on the IFAD premises.

Floating passes and parking permits may also be picked up at the Registration Desk for Delegates during the hours indicated above.
