The United Nations General Assembly has declared 12 September as the UN day for South-South Cooperation.Within the context of Agenda 2030 and in cooperation with FAO, IFAD will organise a two hour session to discuss the opportunities and challenges in promoting SSTC for sustainable and inclusive rural transformation.The event will focus on "South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC): Promoting investment in the Global South to improve rural youth employment" and will be held in the Italian Conference Room (IFAD headquarters). The IFAD Vice President (Michel Mordasini) and FAO Deputy Director General (Daniel Gustafson) will deliver opening remarks.
