Only targeted policies focused on rural people will eliminate poverty in developing countries, concludes new report

Kanayo F. Nwanze, President of IFAD, launches the Rural Development Report 2016 at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome. According to Nwanze, the development community needs to "redouble efforts to help rural people to achieve dignified and prosperous livelihoods free from hunger and filled with hope."
