لتسريع التخفيف من حدة الفقر الريفي ، وتعزيز الإنتاجية الريفية ، ودفع التحول الريفي من خلال التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب والتعاون الثلاثي ، تم إنشاء مرفق التعاون بين بلدان الجنوب والتعاون الثلاثي بين الصين والصندوق في عام 2018 ، ليصبح أول مرفق في الصندوق مخصص للتعاون بين بلدان الجنوب والتعاون الثلاثي.
