Séminaire international sur les partenariats au service de la réduction de la pauvreté dans le monde

L’objectif de ce séminaire est de promouvoir le partage de connaissances, d’expériences et d’enseignements dans le domaine de la réduction de la pauvreté et de la numérisation en s’appuyant sur la coopération Sud-Sud et triangulaire.

The International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) and the China Internet Information Center (CIIC) have organized the fourth International Seminar on Global Poverty Reduction Partnerships, in coordination with IFAD, FAO and WFP. This seminar is intended to play an important role in strengthening partnership efforts that are focused on global poverty reduction.  

The 2020 International Seminar will promote the sharing of knowledge, experiences and lessons learned on poverty reduction and digitalization through the use of South-South and Triangular Cooperation, and discuss the ways in which poor rural people may be empowered for a world affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, the event will focus on the rapid development and use of ICTs during the pandemic and how they will increasingly become part of the work of development cooperation agencies as they strive to better reach and serve poor rural populations.
