Malu Ndavi

Malu Ndavi manages the AR4D unit in the Research and Impact Assessment division, Strategy and Knowledge department, fostering teamwork and communication among staff and across the organizational boundaries, including both CGIAR and non-CGIAR grant recipients.

Before joining the Fund in 2001, Malu was the Export/Regional Manager for American Cyanamid Company, subsidiary of American Home products, (later acquired by BASF) based in Nairobi, Project Manager/Head of Wildlife Research Unit, Ministry of Agriculture in Kenya, a visiting Research Fellow at the International Livestock Research Institute (a CGIAR Centre) Nairobi and Scientist and Research Assistant with Kenya Agricultural Livestock Research Organization based in Nairobi.

Malu holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, England, MSc from the University of Saskatchewan (Molecular Immunology) and Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science, Nairobi University.
