Islamic Republic of Pakistan Country strategic opportunities programme 2023–2027
The overall goal of the COSOP is to contribute to inclusive and accelerated rural poverty reduction and enhanced food security in a gender, youth, nutrition and climate change sensitive manner.
The COSOP goal is underpinned by two strategic objectives:
- Enhancing the productivity and profitability of smallholder farmers through climate-resilient diversification and an agribusiness approach;
- Fostering inclusion of the landless and ultra-poor households through an economic graduation approach.
