Republic of Chad: Country Strategic Opportunities Programme 2020-2025
The overall goal of the COSOP 2020–2025 is to improve food and nutrition security, increase the incomes of poor rural people and create jobs, in particular for women and youth, by building the resilience of agricultural and food systems to climatic, socio-economic and security shocks.
The COSOP will pursue the following objectives:
- Build resilient food systems through sustainable management of productive capital and investment in climate resilient crop and livestock activities; and
- Improve the incomes of rural producers through the promotion of efficient value chains and inclusive agribusinesses models, with a special focus on youth.
