Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Country Strategic Opportunities Programme 2019-2025

This country strategic opportunities programme (COSOP) is targeted to smallholders and agricultural small and medium-sized enterprises in underserved areas with a concentration of ethnic minorities.

Its overarching goal is to sustainably improve incomes of smallholders and rural poor people through market participation and reduced climate vulnerability.

Its strategic objectives are to:

1. Build pro-poor and stable value chains leveraging significant investments from the private sector;
2. Enhance and expand financial inclusion for climate-resilient rural livelihoods;
3. Foster the environmental sustainability and climate resilience of ethnic minorities' smallholder economic activities.
