"I've always been very conscious of where my food comes from and the effort that goes into growing crops. When it comes to cooking, I'm always trying to make the most out of every ingredient."
Crystelle Pereira is a British baker, cookbook author and TV personality. Born in London, she learned her Portuguese-Goan cuisine from her Kenyan-born parents. In 2021, she participated in The Great British Bake Off. The only woman in the final, Crystelle's cakes and pastries were inspired by her travels and ancestry.
After participating in the show, Crystelle published the cookbook My Flavor Kitchen in June 2023. She has performed live cooking demonstrations on programmes including Good Morning America and The Today Show. Her reels and short videos on social media attract millions of viewers from across the world.
