Beginner’s Guide for Borrowers / Recipients
The Beginner's Guide provides all interested parties with an overview of the principles, documents, and procedures that govern the planning and execution of procurement operations in investment projects that are funded in whole or in part by IFAD.
It aims at introducing IFAD’s borrowers and recipients to IFAD’s project procurement framework and summarises the procedures contained in IFAD’s project procurement documentation already available on IFAD’s website, namely the IFAD Project Procurement Guidelines and the IFAD Handbook, which are the reference documents to undertake any project procurement activity.
