A year on from the inaugural Rome Nutrition Week, this year's event will take place from 26-30 May, under the overarching theme of "Coherent Policy and Action for Better Nutrition".

The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) is the foremost inclusive international and intergovernmental platform working to ensure food security and nutrition for all. Using an inclusive multi-stakeholder approach, CFS develops and endorses policy recommendations and guidance on a wide range of food security and nutrition topics.
This Special Session, the 48th Plenary of CFS, will take place virtually on Friday, 4 June 2021 to endorse the CFS Policy Recommendations on Agroecological and Other Innovative Approaches. The endorsement of the Policy Recommendations was moved from CFS 47 (held in February 2021) as their negotiations and completion were delayed due to COVID-19.
