Invest in Women: Accelerate progress
To commemorate International Women’s Day, IFAD, FAO and WFP are hosting a joint event to discuss how investing in women is essential for building inclusive and equitable societies.
The Global Model United Nations (GMUN) is a simulation of the work of the United Nations. Created in 2019 by students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Global Governance at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, it is currently organized by the public universities of Rome in cooperation with IFAD.
Run entirely by students, its mission is to provide aspiring young professionals with a platform via which they can learn about international issues in a realistic environment and develop their debating and dispute-resolution skills.
GMUN 2021 is the third edition of the conference and will feature five committees: the United Nations Social Humanitarian & Cultural Committee, United Nations Security Council, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, United Nations International Law Commission, and the IFAD committee.
