United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation 2023
The UN Day for South-South Cooperation showcases the growing capacity of South-South and Triangular Cooperation to contribute to global development.

The International South-South Cooperation Day highlights the effectiveness of partnerships and cooperation across the Global South.
To mark the day, the Brazilian Cooperation Agency, IFAD, FAO and WFP will host an event on how to address global challenges through practical and collaborative solutions.
The event will also launch a new joint programme on School Feeding and Family Farming. This initiative aims to enhance global efforts in combating hunger and poverty by improving school feeding systems, using locally sourced food and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
