This IFAD-moderated virtual event takes place within the framework of the Diaspora Innovation Days in Africa (DIDA) 2021, a virtual gathering hosted by ADYFE (African Diaspora Youth Forum Europe). The aim is to enhance technology transfer from the diaspora towards Africa and to create a space for providing entrepreneurs with valuable technological content and Diaspora-based innovations.
The webinar will explore different innovative funding models for Diasporas who wish to contribute to economic development opportunities. In particular, the panel will focus on models that affect rural areas, highly affected by a large urban and foreign migration, as well as agricultural value chains.
