From COVID to the conflict in Ukraine, these crises cement the need for long-term investments into resilient food systems. This event will present a Global Donor Platform for Rural Development (GDPRD) white paper on “Transforming Food Systems – Directions for Enhancing the Catalytic Role of Donors”.

The event will:

  • Discuss donor assistance to improve resilience in agriculture, rural development and food systems;
  • Understand how the Food Systems Summit contributes to development thinking in times of crises;
  • Assess modalities for donor coordination for food systems resilience.
