Congressional and Civil Society Outreach Partnership Officer

Gabriel Laizer

Gabriel Laizer is the Congressional and Civil Society Outreach Partnership Officer at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). He is responsible for deepening corporate level collaboration with key stakeholders (government, financial institutions, and civil society) in the United States.

Lazier has over 15 years’ experience fostering strong partnerships among multilateral organizations, the private sector, NGOs, research and academic institutions in areas of food and nutrition security, agriculture and international development.

Prior to joining IFAD, Lazier worked at the FAO North America where he was responsible for developing strategic alliances and outreach efforts to deepen, expand and improve partnership impact among FAO partners in North America.

Earlier positions include Manager of Membership Services at the Alliance to End Hunger and Organizing Assistant at Bread for the World.

Lazier has a master's degree in International Development from The American University in Washington, DC, and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from California Lutheran University.
