Mr Eazi

Mr Eazi is a singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and humanitarian.

He has supported a number of IFAD youth campaigns, including Our Future is Here and #DanceforChange, to increase global awareness of the potential of agriculture to create jobs and opportunities for rural African youth.

Mr Eazi was born Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He grew up in Lagos and later relocated to Kumasi, Ghana, where he studied mechanical engineering.

One of Africa’s rising stars, the Afropop singer-songwriter has had a number of global hits with artists including Kwesi Arthur, Diplo, Rita Ora, Wiz kid, Sarkodie, Lil Kesh, Burna Boy, and many more. His most recent album release is Life Is Eazi, Vol. 2: Lagos to London.

Mr Eazi has a strong passion for promoting the creative arts and youth entrepreneurship in Africa. He also advocates for the eradication of poverty and for ensuring water access in rural areas.

He has launched the emPawa Africa project, which is set to empower Africa’s young talent through entrepreneurship training, mentorship and financial support.
