IFAD’s 48th Governing Council: Eradicating hunger and poverty by 2030

IFAD is currently updating its Social, Environmental and Climate Assessment Procedures (SECAP) which was introduced in 2015 and last updated in 2017. This ongoing update of SECAP is not intended to be a comprehensive revision of the Procedures.
This consultation process is to engage with diverse stakeholders to provide feedback on the new draft SECAP.
The first phase of the consultation was completed on 22 September 2020, and IFAD is now embarking on the second phase on this updated SECAP.
This second consultation period begins on Wednesday, 14 October 2020 and will run until 25 October 2020. IFAD welcomes comments and suggestions from all organisations and individuals.
