Berkis Patricia Pérez is the Chief of IFAD’s Ethics Office, where she advocates for ethical behaviour and regulatory compliance within the organization.
Pérez has over 20 years of experience in ethics, compliance and international security. Previously, she was the Senior Security Officer at IFAD, overseeing global security operations and ensuring the protection of staff and assets. Before joining IFAD, she worked with other United Nations agencies, the United States Agency for International Development and the Armed Forces of the Dominican Republic.
Pérez has a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s in Public Management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic.
