Denisa Butnaru is a partnership officer, funds management in the Global Engagement, Partnership and Resource Mobilization Division. She is focal point for the portfolio of supplementary funds, ensuring effective mobilization and management of the supplementary fund portfolio, in line with IFAD procedures and best practices.
Butnaru has more than 12 years of experience in the United Nations system. Previously, she worked as a consultant in IFAD Near East, North Africa and Europe Division, supporting the Regional Portfolio Adviser in the implementation of the supervision and implementation support policy with the aim to improve the efficiency and performance of country programmes.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Communication from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, and an Advance University in Public Administration, from the National School for Political and Administrative Studies, Faculty of Public Administration, Bucharest, Romania.
