Fernanda Thomaz Da Rocha is IFAD’s Country Director for Pakistan.
She brings over 18 years of experience in finance and implementing development programmes. Previously, she was IFAD’s Senior Regional Technical Specialist in Rural Institutions and Farmers’ Organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean, leading the design and technical assistance of investment projects in the region. Prior to joining IFAD, she was senior manager in different divisions at the Brazilian Development Bank, focusing on rural development and poverty reduction.
Thomaz Da Rocha holds a Master's in Public Policy from the University of California at Berkeley, USA.
