Welcome to the
new ifad.org
Things look a bit different here, right!
IFAD's mission has been consistent for almost five decades: invest in rural people.
But the way we communicate about it to the world is constantly changing with the times.
Our new website makes it even easier to find out what we do – and why this matters.
Frew Behabtu is IFAD's Country Director for Cambodia.
Prior to the current position, he has served as a Programme Officer for the IFAD South Asia hub based in New Delhi. He has nearly 19 years of work experience in the public and private sector in the management and coordination of development projects; focusing mainly on food security, natural resource management and rural development.
Behabtu holds MSc and BSc degrees in Forestry from Hawassa University and a BA degree in Economics from Haromaya University, Ethiopia.
