Janet Muir is the Director of the Procurement and Financial Management Division (PFM). In this role, she leads the division’s work to ensure a robust fiduciary system across IFAD operations, identifying and mitigating risks through rigorous processes and controls.
Muir has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in international development and higher education, previously serving as Director of Finance & IT and Chair of Risk Committee at the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) in Cairo, Egypt and Director of Finance at the Global Crop Diversity Trust in Bonn, Germany.
She possesses a BA and MBS in Accounting & Finance from Dublin City University, Ireland and is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Corporate Governance Institute.
