Chief Risk Officer, Office of Enterprise Risk Management Roger Fischer
Roger Fischer is the Chief Risk Officer of IFAD’s Office of Enterprise Risk Management.
Prior to joining IFAD, Fischer was the Executive Director for Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Türkiye and the United Kingdom at the Asian Development Bank. He was also Chair of the Audit Committee and Vice-Chair of the Ethics Committee. He previously held various roles at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, where he led Financing for Development, Multilateral Development Policy and Global Processes teams, among others.
Fischer holds a Doctorate Degree in Law from Rhenish Friedrich-Wilhelm University Bonn.
