Rosanna Faillace is the Administrative Assistant of the Financing Facility for Remittances (FFR) of IFAD since 2007. Ms Faillace is responsible for the smooth functioning of the Facility in all administrative matters. She works closely with the Programme Manager and assists the Remittances and Development Officer, and all FFR consultants (for KM and operations). Ms Faillace carries out the editorial/proofreading requirements of all written documents/publications produced by the FFR.
Ms Faillace joined IFAD in 1988, working for several divisions until 1996. She dedicated the nine following years to her four children, before returning to the Fund again in 2005.
In 1985, Ms Faillace worked as a trainee for USAID in Somalia. She worked for GIZ from 1986-1987 as draftsperson, editor and secretary for a thorough hydrogeological mapping project for Somalia. In 1987, she worked for an international consulting company in Rome as programme assistant, editor and translator.
Ms Faillace holds a BA in Economics and Languages from Hendrix College (USA).
