Victoria Tauli-Corpuz is the UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, belonging to the Kankanaey Igorot people of the Cordillera Region in the Philippines. Tauli-Corpuz is the founder and executive director of Tebtebba Foundation (Indigenous Peoples' International Center for Policy Research and Education) and former chair of UNPFII, actively engaged in drafting and adoption of the UNDRIP in 2007. She has been supporting IFAD’s in its engagement with indigenous peoples for the past 15 years.
