Second Badulla Integrated Rural Development Project - IFAD
Second Badulla Integrated Rural Development Project
This second rural development project built on the experiences of an earlier one in the same area, improving allocation of resources for development to poor rural households. It supported development of technology to improve agricultural and non-farm production, and it assisted in mobilizing communities and strengthening local institutions. The project also focused on improving rural infrastructure and supporting financial services such as savings and credit for poor rural people, particularly women.
