Northern Province Irrigation Rehabilitation Project
The pump irrigation schemes in the Northern Province had fallen into disrepair and support services had deteriorated, forcing small-scale farmers to emigrate from the area.
By investing in irrigation rehabilitation and strengthening farm support services, the project helped improve food production capacity and farm incomes.
