Welcome to the
new ifad.org
Things look a bit different here, right!
IFAD's mission has been consistent for almost five decades: invest in rural people.
But the way we communicate about it to the world is constantly changing with the times.
Our new website makes it even easier to find out what we do – and why this matters.

The target group will consist of 1,000 direct beneficiary households (50 per cent women) in the five targeted peat landscapes of the GEF SMPEM programme, plus an additional 500 households that will directly benefit from the grant and 5,000 that will indirectly benefit through the GEF SMPEM programme’s scaling-up activities.
