The overall goal of the project is to enhance food security, economic growth and resilience while reducing poverty in the Sahel and West Africa through an integrated common market.
The objectives are to:
- contribute to improved knowledge of trade in agricultural and food products in West Africa
- ensure progress on the free movement of agricultural products in the region
- contribute to the formulation and implementation of regional policies and strategies for promoting trade in agricultural and food products.
