Agriculture Services Programme for an Inclusive Rural Economy and Agricultural Trade - IFAD
Following a long period of sustained economic growth and poverty reduction, Cambodia has suffered significant economic impact from the COVID-19 pandemic and the conflict in Ukraine with poverty increasing as a result. Over a third of the population is employed in the agricultural sector.
The programme supports inclusive and sustainable agricultural growth by providing small-scale producers with productive and resilient assets, partnerships and market access, and access to value chains. In doing so, it aims to increase the incomes of 125,000 rural households.
