Indigenous Peoples and climate financing: Experiences from IPAF
This report outlines success stories and lessons learned in climate finance for Indigenous Peoples through the Indigenous Peoples Assistance Facility (IPAF).
The Adaptation Framework is a repository of adaptation actions for small-scale agriculture, including livestock, forestry, and fisheries. It provides an approach for incorporating adaptation practices into project design.
This framework uses a multi-criterion analysis system to allow project design teams to consider factors such as cost-benefit, climate-risk relevance, farmer capacities, mitigation co-benefits, and biodiversity support. Its selection of the best adaptation measures is informed by analysis of climate change risks and impacts. It also provides a rationale that can be used in mobilizing climate finance.
